Maximilian Schnell got his mechanical engineering degree (B.Sc.) in 2023 at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (Friedberg, Hessen) with his thesis on AI-assisted programming and robot integration. He continued his studies in the consecutive master’s degree program (M.Sc.). In 2025, he graduated with his master’s thesis on the numerical simulation of gunshot wounds in ballistic gelatin using the finite element method.

Since August 2025, Maximilian Schnell has been working as a research associate at the Institute of Flight Systems at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich.
