I am an Assistant Professor at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, Germany, and am leading the Applied AI for Dynamic Systems Laboratory at the Institute of Flight Systems. My research focuses on applying AI methods to real-world applications. These include the development of intelligent cockpit assistance systems, coordination of heterogeneous airborne swarms, and the simulation of AI agents.
Prior to my current work, I completed my doctoral thesis under the supervision of Univ.-Prof. Axel Schulte and Prof. Eva Besada Portas on the topic “AI-Based Mission Planning for High-Altitude Pseudo-Satellites in Time-Varying Environments”.
